Pure Power Mouth Guards

Truly dedicated sports enthusiasts will go to great lengths to do just about anything to improve their physical ability and performance when it comes to their chosen sport. Like professional athletes, a sports enthusiast knows very well how important physical aptitude is in winning and performing at your peak ability. We can help you realize your full potential through the use of the Pure Power mouth guard.

Not every mouth guard can enhance sports performance, but mouth guards made with the guidelines used with neuromuscular dentistry, by dentists who know how to manage the dental bite, and who know how to relax jaw muscles to put them in a more relaxed position, can align the whole body to perform at its very best. This is exactly what the PPM does.

Most of the population has neuromuscular issues, misalignments such as overbite or a TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problem that causes muscle tension. When the neck and jaw muscles are tense, the body can't perform at its peak. Strength is lost and balance is diminished. This is how the PPM helps its athletes out in their game of choice.

Sometimes these problems are hidden, because people have adapted to them- "My neck is sore, my back is sore. I can't lift my arm because it is numb sometimes. I have headaches because of stress. I have bad posture because I work at a computer, but that is ok". These are all excuses people have, not realizing there are much deeper issues.

The PPM is part of a comprehensive mouth guard system, in which the upper guard protects the teeth, while the bottom guard holds the jaw in the optimal position.

Normal mouth guards are simply made from dental impressions and the plastic that they are made of simply buffer the teeth.

With the PPM, the ideal jaw alignment position is found using  computer technology and flexibility tests and range-of-motion tests that show how much the bite affects performance and overall body alignment. If the neck muscles are fighting or compensating for jaw muscles, then back muscles are fighting or compensating for neck muscles, and pelvic muscles are fighting or compensating for back muscles- a chain reaction.

High tech, scientifically designed mouth guards allow muscles to work simultaneously in harmony instead of some muscles having to work harder to compensate for others. This relaxes muscles in the whole body, allowing athletes to perform 20 to 50 percent better.

There are currently several hundred professional athletes using PPM, from MLB, the NBA, NFL, NHL, PGA and UFC. This doesn't include the list of collegiate athletes and amateur athletes who are using it also.
